Basic CSR Student Training Seminars

 

CSR and Stakeholders

The CSR Student Training Seminar was entitled ‘CSR and Stakeholders’ and held in partnership with Corporate Social Responsibility in Turkey and Kadir Has University by Ceyhun Göcenođlu at Kadir Has University on 03.04.2009.

The seminar was held interactively with participants within the context of ‘What is CSR?’ and ‘Why CSR is important for companies?’, logical framework of CSR, stakeholders’ analysis in the context of the UN Millennium Goals, Stakeholders and also was shared situation of the CSR in Turkey.

Global CSR Standards and Implementation Tools

The CSR Training Seminar was entitled Global CSR Standards and Implementation Tools and held in partnership with Corporate Social Responsibility in Turkey and Kadir Has University by Iţýl Onan at Kadir Has University on 03.11.2009.

The CSR seminar started with definition of CSR, CSR policies important for resolving the global problems, also international companies’ CSR tools and CSR policies and the perspectives, Global Compact, GRI, EFQM, and SA8000 Reporting Systems (how companies can become stakeholder of this international standards and how UN can cancel the Global Compact  membership as result of the conditions), studies of international companies on CSR and the approach of companies about CSR in Turkey.

Global CSR and Environment

The CSR Student Training Seminar was entitled Global CSR and Environment and held in partnership with Corporate Social Responsibility in Turkey and Kadir Has University by Jülide Ergin at Kadir Has University on 03.18.2009.

The CSR Student Training Seminar continued with definition of environment and environmental pollution as global climate change, greenhouse gas release, Air, Water, Soil Pollution, Waste and Toxic Substances and Natural Resources Consumption, discussions on ethics and development, sustainable development in terms of environment and CSR, companies and the companies’ responsibilities, ISO 14001 and EMAS Global Reporting Systems.

Labor Standards and CSR

The CSR Training Seminar was entitled Labor Standards and CSR and held in partnership with Corporate Social Responsibility in Turkey and Kadir Has University by Gözde Narman at Kadir Has University on 03.30.2009.

The CSR training seminar about Labor Standards and CSR started with the basic definition of CSR, CSR at work, rules of local-regional and international economic activities for multi-national companies, ILO’s (International Labor Organization) efforts and support initiatives and to focus on OHSAS 18001, ISO 14000, ISO 9001.

Relationship of Trust and Reputation on Communication

The CSR Student Training Seminar was entitled ‘Relationship of Trust and Reputation on Communication’ and held in partnership with Corporate Social Responsibility in Turkey and Kadir Has University by Göktuđ Yücekul at Kadir Has University on 04.01.2009.

The CSR training Seminar involved the concept of ‘Trust and Reputation’, trust crisis and economic crisis, relations between reputation and economy, strong social capital environment that is matched with trust, is the most important driving force of economic development and also companies’ CSR Tools and policies within the relationship of trust and reputation.

CSR and Companies’ Responsibilities for the Community

The CSR Student Training Seminar entitled ‘CSR and Companies’ Responsibilities for the Community’ was held in partnership with Corporate Social Responsibility in Turkey and Kadir Has University by Betül Özer on 03.04.2009.

The seminar entitled ‘CSR and Companies’ Responsibilities for the Community ’;  has been completed under the title of definition of the NGO, NGOs-private sector cooperation, NGOs’ contribution to the private sector, private sector’s contribution to the NGO, corporate responsibilities of companies to the community in terms of CSR, best practices in the context of the NGO-private sector cooperation.
