The CSR Middle East Network is an information sharing platform which was established for the purpose of developing corporate social responsibility (CSR) awareness for sustainable development at the international level and promoting CSR applications around the world. The objective of the CSR Middle East Network is to create awareness about CSR and enhance cooperation among Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO). As a result of this collaboration, the network will contribute to society, and in the process laws, local regulations and policies will be discussed by professionals at the international level, leading to the development of successfull solutions in the field of CSR. By taking part in NGOs concerning CSR in the Middle East, members in the network will have a chance to share their experiences via roundtable meetings as well as trainings, workshops, conferences, news releases, informational publications and forums. The purpose of this sharing platform is to gather NGOs operating in the Middle East in the area of CSR under the same umbrella and provide members of this network with specialized information on CSR. |

CSR MIDDLE EAST INFORMATION SHARING PLATFORMS CSR Network Meetings CSR Middle East Network Meetings, bringing together NGOs, will be held in different countries periodically for the purpose of giving information about CSR and creating an opportunity for members to share their ideas and views with each other. The objective of these meetings is to bring together NGOs and make it possible for them to share their views and experiences with each other and develop the capacity of NGOs with the help of training which will be prepared on different topics. Conferences The aim of the conferences to be held with the participation of expert speakers concerning CSR at the international level is to bring together the business world, governments and the foremost leaders of NGOs in the Middle East. Thanks to these efforts, it will be possible for NGOs to better analyze the needs of business world, government and people and thereby contribute the maximum amount of benefit to the society and the country in which they operate. With the help of these conferences, in which recent trends can be observed, it will be possible for NGOs to devote themselves to the development of the Middle East and to clearly express their missions, as well as to become more effective. Trainings With the help of trainings, NGOs will be capable of developing new projects, generating effective CSR strategies and policies, improving CSR practices, and they learning about international reporting standards, in addition to improving sustainable development objectives. Trainings will be supported by workshops, and NGO’s employees will have a chance to practice CSR applications as well as provide information. Apart from this, all NGOs will have an opportunity to present their trainings and training methods developed by themselves within this platform. The expectations of the participants will be analysed by surveys to be made at the end of trainings and events. Also, Capacity Development Programmes will be organized for the purpose of improving awareness of NGOs and sharing more information. Forum A CSR Forum to be held once a year aims to develop CSR policies and practices. CSR expert representatives will attend the forum as speakers, and the NGOs can thereby share with the other participants the details of succesful CSR solutions implemented in the their respective countries. Also, NGOs will be able to set up stands in the fair area and inform CSR experts as well as other NGOs in the Middle East about their organization. News Releases All NGOs can introduce their organization and its activities in news releases to be sent every month regularly, and they will also be able to share their news and announcements with other members more quickly via newsletters. This will facilitate effective communication among network members. In this way, members will have a chance to follow the latest news, global developments and recent trends concerning CSR.
